It’s ALWAYS the question. And there’s not always an answer. At least, not an obvious one. Of course, time goes on, days go by… And I find myself wondering: What’s next?

Maybe it’s the onset of fall, or the imposing winter season (which makes me just want to curl up under a blanket and drink hot chocolate all day), or the shortening of the days… The year coming to an end, most of the goals for it already accomplished or thrown by the wayside… Every year, about this time, I find myself pondering the question.

We had a great year – we started a YouTube channel that I’m loving being creative on, a decent spring of skiing… We had an AWESOME summer. Fall wasn’t too bad either, even if we did miss the super pretty leaves up high. And the weather has been just about perfect. But just these last few days, it’s started to get cold. Cold enough that I brought all my plants inside and stacked up the deck furniture. And so the ruminating begins.

What in HELL are we going to do to keep having content for our YouTube? Where are we even going to get ideas for stuff? I mean, I have a list (if you’ve met me, you’d know), but most things on it require decent (and by that I mean warm) weather. And we’re not done for the year yet – my dumb ass is running a 50 miler with my friend Renee – her first – mid November. Our anniversary is also in November and we always come up with something for that. And we’re going to Florida for Christmas again. Oh, and we already have a family cruise scheduled for next spring…

So. There’s some stuff. But it’s also time to rub my hands together, laugh an evil laugh, and figure out, “What’s Next?”
