…or whatever the hell it’s called… I inadvertently learned about this “holiday” on the internet today, and I must say, this is one of those random holidays I can totally get behind!

You see, vacation planning is my very favorite thing to do. The wanderlust runs deep in me (see a whole post about that here), and nothing gets me more excited than trying to figure out where we’re going next, for how long, and how we’re getting there. Oh, and what we’re going to do when we get there.

I have been known to spend hours of my life poring over maps, figuring out how to get from point A to point B and what’s there. In fact, I think one of the best birthday gifts I ever received (a LONG time ago now) was an atlas of the world, one of the nice ones with all the pretty pictures of all the places. I think I spent a whole week poring over it’s pages back then. I still have that somewhere… Oooh! I should go find it!

Anyway. I can waste most of a day plugging in different locations in Google Maps and figuring out routes. Not to mention saving infinite Instagram posts to my various lists of places I want to visit…

So where, exactly, have I been planning to go on this National Plan a Vacation Day??? Actually, nowhere today specifically. I just found out about the holiday. But we’ve got some fun stuff just over the horizon. Wanna know what it is? Stay tuned and find out!
