We made it back to Florida!!! Okay, okay, something like three months after we left the last time, but whatever. It was snowing when we left Denver, and it doesn’t suck to go somewhere warm. Ever.

This time, we’re taking a slightly different type of vacation. No long drives, plane rides, or pitching of tents. We’re going on a cruise!

We’ll travel in the lap of luxury and get whisked while we sleep (and relax on the ship for two days) to the southern Caribbean, and we’ll dock in Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados, Martinique, and St. Kitts before being delivered back to Ft. Lauderdale after two more days at sea.

And so it begins:

We headed out of Denver in the snow, as I mentioned before, and had a day to enjoy West Palm before it was time to board the Celebrity Equinox. We went to the beach (duh. What ELSE would we do with a day in Florida?), to our favorite watering hole on the water (Guanabanas), and on board we went two days later.

The ship is INCREDIBLE! There are wide, open lounges and various bars and nooks and crannies to chill in and art installations everywhere you look. And shops, and restaurants, and of course a casino.

We spent the first days at sea exploring the ship, hanging out by the pool, and hitting up the various bars – there were a bunch and I was determined to go to all of them at least once.

We ate well, we drank well, and finally we docked in Antigua…
