We docked in Barbados this morning. Mom and dad called first thing and told us that they had a tour scheduled today, but dad’s back was hurting so they decided not to go and asked if we wanted their tickets. We said yes. Duh.
We were taken by bus to Harbor Lights at Carlisle Bay, which was a bar/resort type place with a bar (and WiFi!) on a beautiful beach. It came complete with umbrellas and lounge chairs, which was nice. We had some rum punch when we got there (it was really good this time!) and later a bucket of beer that we split with my uncle. We swam, and I actually pulled out my snorkeling gear and used it (I saw one measly fish), and had a great time hanging out on the beach .

We went back to the ship when the tour was over and had lunch. Then we headed back onshore to check out the town.
Town was cool. It was Saturday, and there were people everywhere! Everywhere we wandered, we found people. There were squares and churches. There was a cool bridge we found, and a pretty park. Across the street, there was a market that was part grocery store/fruit stand and part bar. Further along, there was a street where people were selling goods right out of the trunk of their cars. Someone was even selling pork chops! It was super fun and lively.

Eventually, we went back to the ship for dinner. Another gorgeous sunset, then the show.

Then, bed. We were tired!
