We went brewery hopping by bike today! It was a beautiful day, fall is in full swing, and it was great!

We grabbed our bikes, aired up our tires, and headed out the door… And as soon as we got down the stairs, Matt realized his tire was flat. As usual, he handed it to me and I changed his tube.

With the flat fixed, we took off for Denver Beer Company. We wound our way down the bike path and across town. When we arrived, we locked up our bikes and went inside.

I had an Incredible Pedal IPA, my standard favorite, and Matt had a Venga, a Mexican Lager. We went out to the patio and grabbed a table.

It was a beautiful day! Crisp fall air, warm sun… We hung out for a bit and had another round, then decided to move on.

Another short ride, and we were at Strange Craft Brewing Company. An IPA for me, something a bit lighter for Matt…

Strange Craft.

The patio at Strange is amazing, and we had it all to ourselves. We hung out for a bit, watched a train go by (the tracks run right behind the brewery), and generally enjoyed ourselves.

We finished up, and started the bike ride home… when we decided on one more stop. The Schoolyard Beer Garden isn’t a brewery, per say – it’s more of a food/beer hall – but they mostly serve local beers. They also have an incredible patio, which is starting to seem like a theme for the day…

From the ride home…

One last round, and then the ride home in the dark. What a great day!
